Took 5 days off

I cashed out some loot from UB and Stars to see if I would play better with less in my account, to give myself a feeling of needing to win (which has helped in the past, though usually not by choice). So I decided to take a 4 day weekend this past week to try to rid myself of the animosity I have for online poker.  I didn't play Friday (I usually don't play Fridays anyways), Saturday (went to Keller Williams show with some peeps for TJ's birthday and got hyphy), Sunday (first Sunday off in a while), and Monday (bowled 116, 198, 171....dunno what happened game 1).  I was planning on playing Tuesday, but I realized I left my debit card and license at Mr. Smalls after the concert.  So instead, I was trying to get ahold of them,  but didn't get ahold of them until Wednesday afternoon and made plans to get it this afternoon.  So basically, my 4 day weekend turned into a 5 day weekend and I got back to the grind yesterday.

I went to Al "Franchizzle" Hronec's, AKA "Fran", house last night to play and after a few hours and endless lost flips I cursed myself for not taking a 6-day weekend.  I ended up with 2/11 with 2 weak min cashes.  Today I played after I got back from Mr. Smalls. 

I played 9 tournies only as I'm also trying to cut down the length of my reg'in.  Most of the session has gone pretty bad, but I did chip up in the 42k on FT.  With about 50 players left I had about 75k at 1200/2400.  I had been playing pretty solid without getting too involved but I wasn't at this table very long.  I opened 99 to 5400 and the bb 3bet to like 12k......he had a -30% roi, but only over 100 games or so.  I felt like shoving was spewy as I'm likely flipping at best, but I did think AK was a big part of his range, so I decided to take the flop.  Flop came Q86.  He checked and I checked behind hoping I could keep the pot at a managable size.  Turn was a 2.  He bet like 14k (roughly half the pot) and I just called figuring the river would go check-check a lot of the time and he would have AK (or TT and JJ).  Unfortunately the river was an A.  He bet 20k and I couldn't beat anything so I folded with about 45k left.

Blinds were up to 1500/3000 on the next hand.  I open shoved JQ and took the blinds.  The next hand I open shoved like 17bb with JJ and took the blinds.  Folded the next hand.  The next hand I 3bet shoved A3 from the bb against a 2.5x open from the sb.  At this point I was up to about 70k.  The same guy that I just played the 99 pot against opened for 7k and since I had been acting pretty spewy I just shoved QQ for 23bb.  Obviously he had KK and held after we both hit a set.  I'm starting to wonder if I'm ever going to run into the bottom of someones range.

Now I'm 1-tabling the Stars 3r just ITM.  600 left and I have 25bb.  Just won a pot to get to 38bb.
