Two shorties moved in in late position and I alled them both for about 60% of my stack.  They had AQ and A4 and I hit a K with KQ to take the pot and get back to 23bb.  I refrained from spewing with AJss the next hand then won a small pot 99>88.  30bb with AQ on the button facing a 10bb shove. funny stuff

We decided to write our goal down on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall.  There was a lot of white space so we added some other points of emphasis.  No perking off chips and play to win.

I just had a funny hand where I had top pair and was faced with a river all in.  Against a good player it was an obvious fold so I OPR'd him while my time bank ticked down.  With like 3 seconds left in my time bank before my hand was mucked his stats popped up and he was absolutely terrible.  I raced my mouse across the screen and called with 1 second left.  He had ace high.  GG.

Lost a flip KQ<99 for 8bb.  Then UTG with 30bb opens for a standard raise and UTG +2 calls.  I 3bet AKhh an get flatted by bb with 20bb behind and UTG +2 also flats.  Flop is J76 with two spades.  BB leads for 12k into 55k.  I can't even call.  Fortunately I picked up the next pot 3betting QQ and then a few hands later I opened QQ and picked off a 15bb shove with TT.  Two hands later I called a 9bb shove with AJo.  Shover had A9.  Board ran out AK833 for a chop.  13/309 with 50bb.

Just wanted to take a chance to thank everyone that actually reads this.  I ran into Jake "jakexzaiger" last night and he told me he reads my blog.  Also want to shoutout to the infamous Dusty Walker.  On to updates.

I took the last two days off after a frustrating few days.  I think I played 16 tournies on Tuesday and ended up with 7 mincashes.  The next day I played basically the same schedule and went 0/16. 

Like I said in my first entry, I can only grind for so long.  So I used to only reg. for an hour or so and play as many as I could in that block of time.  The reason being is because i play spewy in the tourneys that start later in my session because my mindset is focused on mid-late stages.

Since I got this new monitor where I can 12-table with no overlap I've been getting my money's worth.  I also haven't shipped anything meaningful since I got the monitor.  So for the next week or so I'm going to cut my tables down to 8-10 over a 1 hour block.  I started with 8 tourneys today, still have 7 running.

Lost another big flip AQ<77.  Doubled my 12k  99>K6.  The same guy shoved A6, I called off with AJ, and the big stack behind me woke up with KK. GG.  Out 46th.

Fifty fifty rollercoaster

Got a huge stack (40k+) at like 250/500 when my AA held against KK and KK.  I had to fade a spade and did.  Then the roller coaster ride began.

1.  Lost 20k of my stack bvb with 55 on a Q546Q board.  He had Q6.
2.  Got back up to 40k 3-bet shoving.
3.  Lost 20k of my stack AK<JJ.
4. Lost 10k of my stack KK<A3.  I had 10k at 800/1600.

After a bunch of run bad tourneys I finally got a good one.  Sittin 2/8 in the $11 superstack 15k.  Haven't had a whole lot of marginal spots since we got itm hours ago.  Mostly easy decisions.  I 3bet a guy bvb from the bb with 72o a little ago and told chrisp200 he owed me 25 bucks.

looks like I'm going 1/12 tonight.  The only tourney I have left is a $5.50 2.5k on UB.  Started with 499, ITM now with 62 left.  Just caught a mini rush and turned my 6bb stack into 30bb.  Sittn 16/62.  Sadly, I need to win to make profit on the night.

not the start to the new year i was looking for

Got crushed the first sunday of 2011 in the grind room with the crew.  Had to bowl tonigt so I'm playing a late session.  I'm starting to get pretty good at bowling.  The last three weeks I've had a 210, a 200, and two 192's.  Back to poker.  Busted in 3 tournies so far.  Unfortunately AKdd<AJss in the $55 Nightly SeventyGrand(NSG) on stars and TT<99 in the $55 50k on tilt.
